Entstehung (Emergence) is a Techno-adjacent banger, representing 0VRLNDR's first official release. As a fan and educator of the Moog Subharmonicon, 0VRLNDR uses this unique instrument prominently in each track. Now Boarding is a moody ambient prelude to warm your ears up with a hypnotic, swirling, drone. ATM stays in a darkened alley, keeping the tension going until it explodes into a full-out run. The feature single, Emergence, was performed, mixed, and recorded live for the Modular World "Patch On" series in September 2021. The theme of the 30+ artist show was simply "Techno", giving birth to Emergence and the rest of this EP. It's the most danceable tune here. The EP ends with Salk It, which contains the most definable characteristics here of the Techno genre—rumbling kicks, reverb washes, unresolved melodies—but ends in an uncharacteristically abrupt two minutes.

The EP was created with the Moog Subharmonicon, Moog DFAM, dual Moog Werkstatt-01s, Soma Laboratories Lyra-8, Pulsar-23, Arturia Keystep Pro, Ableton Live 11, with supplemental pads/effects from Arturia Pigments.
